Iʿtikāf is a Sunnah spiritual retreat in Islam where a person secludes themselves in a mosque (or a designated space at home for women) during the last ten days of Ramadan to focus entirely on worship, prayer, and recitation of the Quran. In the following teachings, it is explained in a simple manner, and the myths associated with it are dispelled. Islam is a religion of peace. I have taught Islam and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to President Trump and President Biden since Dec 2015. I have learned Islam from my parents and grandparents, who belong to the dynasty of Prophet Abu Bakr (RA), and we are relatives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). I have also learned Islam from my maulvi sahab, whose teaching Style is unique and contemporary. The teachings are in English, Urdu/Hindi and Arabic. I do not know Arabic, so I did not want the essence of the teachings to be minimized.Now there is a myth around me developed by propaganda machine that if they kill me and my older brother there will be no Islam. What are these people thinking. Islam came by Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) through Allah(SWT). Please donot believe these myths of propaganda machine. Itkaaf in USA is starting from I'tikaf in the USA for Ramadan 2026 (1447 AH) generally takes place during the last ten days of Ramadan, tentatively starting the evening of March 9th or 10th and concluding with the sighting of the Eid moon around March 19th or 20th. I will be performing Itikaaf for three days from this Wednesday March 11-March 13 2026. I will be taping what I did for future reference and Islamic teachings. You can even observe Itikaf even if you are not fasting. This tutorial also has what to do if you cannot fast.
